How difficult to replace the inner door handle rod and plastic caps. As I opened the door the rod popped out and the plastic caps were broken (drivers side) Quick suggestions? Thanks!

Which end broke? If it is the outer one, this is a piece of cake. If it is the inner one, you'll be taking off the door panel. This involves removing pretty much everything attached to the door panel.

Not too bad, even if you have to remove door panel. I replace the outer drivers side door handle on my SC a while back, in and out in about an hour. Replaced lock cylinder on passenger side about the same.
