I'd go for the 965. It will leave the 993 in the dust...

Driving every day? Take the C4S.
Wanna drive one day a week and freak out your friends? Buy the 965.

Oh, and hope like hell there's nothing wrong with either one of them

Just get a borla exhaust and a chip and I bet the dyno will go from ~270 to 340 (conservatively).

Did the $35k suddenly go up in value?

Another vote for turbo.

But a word of caution - once the boost bug bites, it's a one-way ticket to financial ruin. My 944 turbo was a frightfully deep money pit. But it was oh-so fun!

965s are insanely nice.

That 4S was marked SOLD 1-2 months ago by longtime PCA member in Bay area. Is it for sale again already different owner or did deal fall through??

Well, not so much financial ruin, but I have had two 993s and the Lime Green 72 RSR car, and nothing compared to the 965 I had before them. Once you feel the boost,. you're hooked...

the 993 is an awesome car, but do you live where you need 4WD?

it went on to its new owner, i think he's just using it for the sake of comparison/argument. new owner is not a pelican AFAIK

Do NOT drive the 965. First hit is free, then you gotta to pay for it. 99 what? Someday I like to have C4S.

Go for the Turbo. I love seeing the prices because it makes me want to dance and do naked cheetah flips. The 965 is the deal!!! It has those sweet hips and long legs that pull like no-ones business. They look sweet from any direction and can back it up on the road...except against those blue haired grandmothers driving their A5 station wagons on the autobahn.

It never fails. Just as you are passing the Ferrari, some blue haired grandmother in a station wagon sneaks in behind you flashing her lights cuz you're too slow!!!
