Pelicans recommend Motor Meister.

No seriously, use the search function. You will find many highly regarded builders mentioned here. Maybe post your request in the Engine Building forum.

Does your trans give you trouble?

I think I'll stay out of this one except to say if that's a '71, it lost every good part visible.

all we can tell is you are near a river or lake and it looks cold there.... that doesn't nail down your location very well.
also at my age reading all caps is hard on the eyes...
there are a number of good engine builders that post on this site... maybe some of the best Porsche engine builders out there.

I meant I wouldn't comment on the MM comment. That's was surely a shot taken at this fellow. From the windshield gasket to the rockers, that is not looking like a '71 at all. A lot of work went into that car to make it a run-of-the-mill 964. It's time to put a 3.6 in the car!

He can do that for the price of a decent 2.4 rebuild.

I can tell where you are located from the background. You are in luck...you have a master builder living a few minutes from you. Go down to the shed by the dock and ask for Chad. You can't go wrong with him-and he accepts his weight in clams in lieu of cash for payment.
