GTS Classics to Bangkok

Love the seats.
Sorry, I'm not good with writing, the pictures should say it all.
Thanks Stefan.

seats to Thailand

Hello Burint,
Thank you for sharing the pictures, will be on my websites.....
THese were the ST models with the 5 point haness and the houndstooth material as used on the GM models. It is not wool/ cotton it's a perlon fiber ...but very durable and easy to clean. The sample in the middle is the German woolen houndstooth, the most used one is not shown here, has a pattern as the GM stuff more square and very close to the original, in cotton/wool fabrics.

Beautiful stuff, Stefan! Engine is finally going back in my '68L next week.

I'll be getting a pair of ST's with the sub/side cutouts in black/white houndstooth.

PCA etc

Hi Jeremy,
The rule says you have to have 2 identical seats and that the seatbelts have to have the proper guidance provided by the manufacturer.
If you have a bit time , we are working on a new version that is a better appropiate for the attachment of the Trips device.
So if you have a bit more time we are working on it and we will deliver........

There was a fair bit of discussion regarding this issue, especially given the new PCA rules. It's basically use your stock 3 pts, or if you want to have a 5/6 point harness, then you need side cut outs and a "guide" for the shoulder straps.

The local PCA chapter DE guys felt that running the shoulder straps between the headrest posts met this criteria, esp with a harness bar or rollbar with guides. Again, this is NOT completely clear is the rules, so there is some room for interpretation, safety being first. Having said that, I see LOTS of vintage race cars with this set up.

I sent a pic of these seats to my local DE chair and they seem to comply. I would recommend you do the same.

The new Tripps device looks much better, so I now plan on getting that as well.

Kudos to Stefan!

That's a great looking car. Love the seats, too. I can't imagine driving a long hood in Bangkok, but I'm sure you get used to it. Do you have A/C, or is it a sauna in the car?

Thanks for the compliment.
We don't have a lot of long hood here, around 10-12 cars that are now restored and driven on the road. There should be around 10 more that was converted to the Turbo look in the past and await to be restored back to original.
The Nipon Denso a/c is awesome, we're cooled under 98F here.

This is the link to the restoration website of the cars in our group.

Many thanks to all advices from the U.S. and our host.
