RS Ignition Curve
 
Hi Guys

Any chance someone has an ignition graph or table for a stock RS spec engine to assist me have a distributor recurved?

I have seen RS specific curves either here or on early 911S registry in last couple of days. Sorry, can't give you the address.

Aaron's chart "2.7 Carrera", + 2.7 Euro, and 2.7 RS are all same. Cost new should be around $300us. Call pelican and tell them the cheapest price you could find. They don't list the 004 in their catalog. You can run 10deg initial and max at 35deg without vacuum connected.

Ron, Aaron,
So as not to confuse, the advance numbers in the chart I posted describe distributor advance only. Distributor degrees are 1/2 crank rotation degrees (rotates at 1/2 speed).

Your charts describe total ignition advance (distributor advance + initial static timing, an additional 10º).

Same numbers in the end.
