vacuum advance hose missing
Just bought my Porsche. A 1977 911S targa. I noticed that the vacuum advance hose is missing. Is this something I should be worried about?

I think your 77 only has a vacuum retard, and was required for emissions reasons. A lot of people disconnect theirs. I have mine disconnected on my engine, which uses a 77 dizzy. Actually I have the like plugged. The engine seem to run smoother, especially @ idle , and cooler.
