SC, temp switches

I have a '82 SC with a '80 motor and my original '82 CIS components (including lambda).

1) In the Bentley manual the photo of the 15C switch shows it having a pin-like connector vs. a spade connector. My car has a spade connector. Is there a variation in those?

2) I believe, because I have the '80 motor, that I would not have the 35C switch. Since the '81-'83 CIS expects this switch, and controls cold acceleration enrichment, I'm hoping that without the switch the default is to not have cold acceleration enrichment.

Thoughts? Thanks!
