Anyone know Arrow Blue 911 SC in PAC NW?

I am shopping for a 911 SC and have my heart set on a car in Arrow Blue which it seems is a pretty rare colour. I have seen reference to an Arrow Blue SC in the Pacific Northwest region and wondered if anyone here knows the car/owner? I would like to contact the owner just in case there is a one in a million chance they have considered selling their car. Cheers, John

Arrow Blue ( code L305) is a superb choice

You're right about rare...

Yeah, rare is probably an understatement. Not sure how things are in Oz but the distribution of Porsche colours in the US is wildly skewed towards guards red, with black, silver and white thrown in for a little variation I am beginning to wonder why PCNA just doesn't offer these 4 colours and have everything else a premium special order colour! I suppose the reality is that really my colour tastes are skewed. I have looked through the various colour threads on this forum and keep coming back to Arrow Blue as the one I want for my SC. Performing a convincing colour change is certainly "doable" but the law of diminishing returns sets in pretty quickly so I would prefer to just buy a car the right colour to begin with. Cheers, John

John, Buck here from the Wildfork breakfast crew....I'm assuming that is you. Good luck on your search and as I've mentioned on several other threads, Fishcop has about the best blue color 911 I've ever seen.

Oops, I think Chad's car was actually Fishcop Blue sometime before mine

Believe it or not, there is actually an Arrow Blue SC here in Brisbane (Australia), it's the only factory Arrow Blue car I've seen - here or on the board!

Good luck on your search mate, hope the board can find you the right car.

Hey John (Kiwi John)...did you get a 996? Does your mother in law still have the dark green 993 or did you all sell that?
If I'm in town I will definitely come by Wildfork...good group of people and incredible food. My wife loves breakfast there but not at 8 a.m., more like brunch.
BTW John/Fishcop, isn't there also a blue called "acid blue" or is that just another paint name for the color of your car?

Hi Buck, no I have not purchased a 996 but I do have an SC in my sights. Should know where this stands by the weekend. With no luck finding an Arrow Blue car I intend to start with a black car as a base and have it painted. I sold the 993 owned by my in-laws a few years back and it is now residing in St. Louis. Cheers, John

Buck, I originally thought Acid Blue was the right name... but it actually is Arrow Blue.

Soooo,

Back to the original question, anybody know of this particular car?

How about any SC or Carrera in Arrow blue, Continental orange, Viper/Lime green or any other eye-watering color?

JR
