Info about this T/R?

Chuck Miller of the Early S Registry was kind enough to share the below photo of a '68 T/R.

Does anyone know more about this car?



I am thinking about painting the trunklid and decklid of #806 Tangerine orange. The trunklid is sandblasted and I am going to switch to a straight tail with a wickerbill from the duck.

Here is the current scheme FYI. . .

Here is my modern interpretation. Paint by Series900, 603 863 0090 The orange hood is great, no mistaking the car on the track or coming into the pits!

I like it John ...

... and think it looks nice. This is really weird because I was thinking of doing the same thing on my project. Though, after seeing this thread, I have changed my color to Aviator grey. I will post when completed.
