Weber air cleaner question

Does anyone now the size and thread pitch of the wingnuts that secure the air cleaner on a set of Weber carbs. I can't find mine and and with all the misc hardware that I have in my garage I don't have the correct size either.

Nope, I have plenty of those. They are M5 but I can't find the right thread pitch. Two hardware stores only had .8 thread in the M5 size.

The OE are secured by a pair of M8 nuts. You must be talking about the Watershields.

Garage
I found mine at Ace hardware. I took one of the original nyloc nuts in, found a bolt to fit the nyloc, and then found wing nuts to fit the bolt. It took forever...Ace's hardware bins had a lot of mixed nuts & bolts in them.

Hey Wayne, Pelican should sell a kit for watershields with drilled wing nuts and little springs.
