Carrera Simple Seat Height Solution?
On the 87-89 Carrera the passenger seat has a bracket to raise it up to the level of the driver seat. It is about one inch high. What if one takes off the bracket, then reverses the driver's seat with the passenger seat? The passenger seat would then have the electro adjustments, but so what? Why shouldn't the passenger enjoy those, if it would give the driver more head room?
Is there something wrong with my idea? I thought I would ask before doing it, relying on the experience of the others here. Remembering Warren this Saturday morning. Cordially, Greg

The pass seat will work on the driver's side. You have to move the seat belt receptor bracket to what will be the new tunnel side. The power driver seat will not work on the passenger side. On power seats, the seat belt receptor bracket is welded to the seat rails.
