Quick question on quantities . . .

A non-technical question, so forgive if mis-posted.

Have there been over a million 911's made yet? Been trying to search the archives for an answer.

Spending a hour or so looking at 21 pages (so far) of the "butt pics" thread . .

And I'm just wondering where to look for quantities made?

no, think it is in the range or 100k to 2x that

maybe search using term quantit* & production

info is in books, like Frere's and maybe in Wade Guthrie's FAQs

The 1988 Commemorative Edition was was to mark the 250,000th 911 produced. So it is well above that number. A guess would be that they are closing in on 500,000. Maybe another commemorative edition car coming soon?
