Estimate for chain tensioner upgrade
Hi,
I have a 72 911 and am told that I need to upgrade the chain tensioner as it is the original. The chain box is leaking so maybe that's why the upgrade? Also my oil lines are leaking at various spots and am being advised to replace them. How much should this work cost? Can I wait on one and not the other? |

New kits can be had for less than a $1000. This included covers and gaskets. Depending on skill level it could be an afternoon job.

Eight years ago, it was a $500 job. Now, it is a $1000 job. One day to do,
