I drive a production Porsche 911, wanting it to be/thinking it should be like what you built. Beautifully done Jeff.

She is so nice, you want to arrange a saturday morning breakfast cruise?

jeffgrant 06-20-2008 04:05 PM

Nice job Jeff! Can't wait to see it in person. :)

ShakinJoe 07-23-2008 10:02 PM

What make is that front bumper?

Reaper930 07-24-2008 04:19 AM

Beautiful interior work, truly an inspiration.

Jeff Alton 07-24-2008 08:15 AM

I got the bumper from Steve Alacron (sp?), he posts from time to time.

Cheers

Hi Jeff, the dash area looks very clean (like everything else on the car!).
How about some more detail shots of your switches where the radio and air vent controls were originally.
What dash cap is that?
Something like that is on my list.

Looking forward to your next write up from when you take it to the track/AX adjust some sway bars and find your limits.
Remember to post some in car video too.

Jeff Alton 07-24-2008 10:33 AM

I will get some more pics of dash shortly, it is really simple, 2 swithches and a brake bias knob.....

The cap I made from fiberglass. The mold got trashed on the last one I made. I still have one left to make another mold from when I get the time.

Hitting the track on Aug 5 to see how it goes. Hopefully not too much tweaking required.....

Cheers

Car is very impressive. Love the color and the weight of 2225 is incredible. It will fly.

Jgordon 07-24-2008 07:28 PM

That thing just looks angry. Love it.

MrPerkles 07-24-2008 10:29 PM

Jeff Alton 07-24-2008 10:36 PM

I will try to take some video on the track on the 5th, the sound in my camera sucks but the picture is not bad.....

Cheers

The entire car is pure sex.

n00btacular question: How do you get the gauge bezels off?

edit: N/M, found a tech article. I think the bezels make all the difference when it comes to the way your dash looks.

Targa4now 07-25-2008 01:07 PM

Love it!! I only wish I could hammer the gas pedal!

Great work.

jasonlee 07-25-2008 09:42 PM

I am speechless. What an incredible car Jeff. I certainly hope I get a chance to spot here in the lower mainland. Shouldn't be hard with that fantastic colour. My hat is off to you.

richde 07-26-2008 08:43 AM

I am totally hooked on your gauges.

Did you strip and then put a finish on them or are they #PEL-PP912855 from Pelican? The Rennline bezels are polished, so not those.
