Checking Mixture - LM1 at Idle on 82SC

I borrowed a buddy's LM1 so that I could check my mixture.

I am prepping this CIS to be placed on a rebuilt engine and I want the mixture to be as accurate as possible.

OK, at idle with a warm engine should the Lambda number on the LM1 be between 0.800 and 0.900? I believe that equates to 14.1 - 13.2 for the air/fuel ratio. Is that correct?

As you know Lambda 1 is 14.7. At idle this is where I try to be and then check
lambda at 3000 rpm. I prefer to be just slightly rich up to wot. Go to www.innovatemotorsports.com

There is a section at this site on 911 cis 3.0l

Ok ... thanks for info. This applies with 02 sensor connected as well as with disconnected?

Can't seem to find anything about 911s on the site. Searched LM1 forum too.

Go to general tuning forum, then 911cis
