Checking Mixture - LM1 at Idle on 82SC
I borrowed a buddy's LM1 so that I could check my mixture.
I am prepping this CIS to be placed on a rebuilt engine and I want the mixture to be as accurate as possible. OK, at idle with a warm engine should the Lambda number on the LM1 be between 0.800 and 0.900? I believe that equates to 14.1 - 13.2 for the air/fuel ratio. Is that correct?

As you know Lambda 1 is 14.7. At idle this is where I try to be and then check
lambda at 3000 rpm. I prefer to be just slightly rich up to wot. Go to www.innovatemotorsports.com There is a section at this site on 911 cis 3.0l |

Ok ... thanks for info. This applies with 02 sensor connected as well as with disconnected?
Can't seem to find anything about 911s on the site. Searched LM1 forum too.
