SSI exhaust fitment questions

Hi,
I came across a complete exhaust systems that the owner want to sell because he want less noise. He just run it for less then 3000 mi.

It's a pair of SSI heat exchanger SSI484940 and SSI434182 and a stainless muffler, single outlet, but bigger, 911.111.025. I plan to built a mildly modified 3.0, but I don't have the motor yet.

What are the range of motor can I use this system ? and induction system restrictions ? What will be a good price to pay ?

Thanks !!!

SSI are a very good choice up thru 3 maybe 3.2 L, the main issue is thick vs thin flange.

early 911 thru ~'81 used short exhaust studs and thin flanged exhaust, after that they used longer stud and thick flange exhaust. The studs can be changed to thecorrect length(i've doen that several times) it's just another PIA job

Of course the correct oil lines are needed as well, that also depends on the specific year.

SSI can be used w/ most any cam or induction variation w/o restraint. They do fall into the small side on a 3.2 w/ lumpy cams & raised rev limit.

My '77 uses the thick flange SSI's.
