Sunroof tray 'glue' removal

Hello Pelicans.

Could someone please give me some options on how to remove the sunroof tray 'glue' ?

It is some sort of body adhesive but I can't get it to budge. Pretty good for something that was applied in the '70's.

Thank you.

3M makes a pretty good adhesive remover. I have never tried it that application but it does work on most dried old glue & adhesive.

I may have been too ambiguous.

The tray is still attached to the underside of the roof. I have all the welds ground off and now the only thing holding it up there is the factory glue (epoxy?)

I can't seem to separate the sunroof from the roof skin.

All help is appreciated.

Thank you.

(Thank you GH85Carrera and Bob for your suggestions)
