3.2 front brake pad thickness?

Hi,

What is the correct thickness of the brake pad for the front of a 3.2 Carrera? 14mm or 19mm?

I have a set of pagid yellows that are 19mm and that are supposed to be for my 3.2. They are 5mm too thick to fit my slightly worn rotors.

I slotted a set of pagid blacks in without drama. They measured 14mm in thickness out of the box.

My car is Euro spec.

Simon

The 4501 pad is the correct one for a '84-89 Carrera front, it is 15mm thick. The 19mm 4503 pad has the same area and shape is but thicker and is for the alloy S caliper

Some irrelevant trivia.

I once machined a set of Aloy S calipers for use w the thicker Carrera calipers on my 72 911T w Minilite rims w 225/50/15 R1's, 2.8 twin-plug distributor, MFI motor. Then used the Carrera pads. Seemed like a cool idea at the time.

Boy I miss that car. New owner put RSR flairs n wings on it , went racing and got a few class best track times with it.
