Help needed in Nashville / Atlanta - brake problems

I somehow feel slightly apologetic asking for help, but I've got to at least ask.

What I believed, before I left home, to be a slightly sticky left front caliper that would be OK until I got home obviously isn't. Leaving Nashville is rush hour just now and right after I noticed a stronger pull and burning smell ("is it me or another car?") my pedal went to the floor. Pulled off safely and left front wheel is muh hotter than the other. No leaking at MC and no other reason t believe it is anything other than a stuck caliper or a bad soft line that is cooking the fluid at the caliper. I don't know what changed between Saturday and now, but something did.

So I am looking for either: a recommendation for a shop here that I could take the car to (I am on 24 East at exit 57a) or a shop in Atlanta I could take it to. This is the kind of job I know how to do myself but obviously not in a position to.

If this had happened in Atlanta it would have been easier, since I have time and can drive one f my moms cars. But it didn't. I might be able to stay with a friend here but kind of need to get to Atlanta, so that means either having it worked on here and renting a car toget to Atlanta or having it flat added there and ditto. The pedal is recovering, but not sure I'd trust it to get me there, especially with Monteagle in between.

Best way to reach me - faster than here, but worth posting too - is on 312 536 2309.

Thanks,
David

You aren't really out of Nashville so there should be lots of brake specialists. If you want Porsche-only and can get to Huntsville we'd be glad to help.
Porsche of Nashville is between Brentwood and Franklin on Rt 65 (855)574-8042
Eurofix Franklin is also on 65 (615)591-2475

Thank you for those suggestions. I did see German Performance Options when I started searching on my phone, and they are convenient to Edgehill, where I am saying with family friends. I will look at the others and so up at one of them fist thing in the morning. If I'm lucky, it's soemthing they can do tomorrow and I can be on my way rush hour tomorrow. Otherwise I'll rent a car and come back on my return on Saturday.

I feel this is an obvious failure in preparation or judgment on my part. Knew the caliper was a bit draggy, and though I did not have an obvious reason to think it was really bad, I should have left the car at home until I had time to do a brake service. Ive. Never had a pedal go to the floor on me in any of my cars, and it's obviously not confidence inspiring. At least I can drive the car to the shop and I've got a bike with me so I can ride back to the house and back to the car.

Wickie rebuilt my caliper - I cannot say enough good things about him!
