2.2E 1970 - Whoch shocks should i put?

Hi Folks

I bought a 911 2.2E 1970 last week.
The car is in a body shop for a bit of cosmetic work at the moment.
I'm thinking to "refurbish" the chassis and therefore change the shocks. I would like to put bilstein sport but i don't want to replace the full strut.

Here are 2 photos of the front suspension. The top is black (Boge?) and the bottom red (koni?)
Which shock can i fit?

Looks like there is green paint under the red?

Apparently, i'm lucky!
These struts are RSR bilstein items!

The threading is for coil-over spring adjustment. You have raised spindles, too?

Alex,

I have recently installed Koni Classics in my '71 S and I am very happy with them.
My driving is road only with as much good excercise as I can get away with !!

Cheers,
Dennis.

Dunno about the spindles.

I have heard only good things about bilstein, less about koni except for the race shocks (there are good but worn down quickly).

Anyway, i'll probably go for bilstein if i have to replace the whole strut...
