Window down door opens

Before taking the door panel off just wondering if anyone has an idea why the door came open after putting the window down. I left the driveway and put the right side window down like I always do and went to the first left hand turn and the door came open. These are power on a 76 911. I did hear a noise but didn't think it was anything, but now I know it was the latch for the door that made the noise. It has done it only once after that......... So what do you think?
Thanks

Window probably caught the latch rod or wire on the way down... something is out of alignment...

What I found was very simple, the cable coming from the inside door handle going to the latch came out of the holder and when the window went down grabbed the cable and pulled the latch.
