Front fender roll on Carrera with 7's?

Hi,

I sourced a set of 7x16 for my 89 Carrera. I dropped the the front end 1/2 inch with 2 full turns of the adjustment screw (from it's stock ride height). I'm told this will have affected the camber by 2/10 of a degree. The car is currently at the shop getting the 7's mounted with the current 205 tires and getting a front end alignment.

Will I also now need the fender's rolled with a 1/2 drop from stock, 7x16's w/ 205's?

I wouldn't say so, depending on the tires. Tires can have a different shape at the sidewall/tread junction, which might come close to rubbing. You'll have to wait and see how much clearance you have.

Every car is a little different. You may need to roll your fenders. I had the same set up on my SC and I had no problem unless I hit a big bump and on the driver's side only it would rub so I had to roll it on that side only. YMMV Hope that helps.
