What kind of Fuchs are these?
I'm stumped - I've only pulled one so far, this is all I have found. Obviously 6J15, but are they 'regular' or 'deep sixes'?
![]() '6J15' ![]() '911.' and 'AS1'

Dave, what are the date codes?
I think the AS1 refers to the alloy.

Fuchs
I believe those are 'flat' sixes.
Here's a picture of a 'deep' six with a heart.

Shaun, I haven't pulled the date codes yet. Was getting dark out. Scott - these are definitely not 'heart' sixes - but could still be 'deep', right? Wish the PN was legible. I'll try another one tomorrow.

If you look at the shoulder of the petals you'll see where the 'deep' comes from. Those aren't deeps. |

Deep sixes came originally with tubes. When a wheel says "J" it's for a tubeless tire.
Also, the distance from the lip to the base of the petal is deeper, hence "deep 6." At a better angle you could see this on the above wheel. |

Here's a set of 'deeps' for sale in the classifieds:
DEEP 6 FUCHs, w hearts Scott/Milt, looks like you're right. These appear to be flat sixes. I'll try to pull more PNs tomorrow to verify completely. Thanks for your input! A Fuchs expert, I am definitely not.

I appologize for being stupid, but I cant tell the difference between any of the pictures. All the wheels look the same. And whats with the "hearts". Are certain wheels in love. I thought deep meant offset. Can anyone explain what the fuss is all about

"Deep" refers to the distance from the lip to the face of the wheel. Use the "search" feature and you will find extensive discussion on this subject.

I think they are repro.
I have 2 of 7/15 without Fuchs logo and no part number. ![]() ![]()

Part numbers for flat sixes start with 911 - ie the full part numbers for flat sixes are:
911.361.020.00 - early 911.361.020.10 - late

In overly simple terms... the "deep" sixes have a deeper depression in the area between the rim and outer end of the spoke compared to the flat sixes, correct? And is the "heart" where the little blip of extra reinforcement occurs near the valve stem? If so... I think I've finally got it.
