Smile Actual Look? or New Look??

Which of these too looks would you rather for the car??

This is a 1975 S turbo Trasplant, the turbo engine is a complete 1977 245hp..

It has been redone in many ways, but the look thing...which would you rather?..

Actual Look

IROC Bumper Look

MKEDF, looks like Mexico City? Recognize the "vocho" in the background of the second pic. I also like the first look, the other one would be great if you also do the rear bumper.

I like the IROC, but only if you also do the rear bumper and probably also lose the rocker panels. If you want to keep everything more stock, then go with the RUF.

I HATE the accordians, especially on anything other than a black car, so I'd go with the Ruf on both ends, which is exactly what I'm doing on my '88.

I love IROC bumpers but the look is a little out of proportion to me on a narrow body. If going light weight of for a race car it is fine.

To my eye, the stock bumper w the euro/RUF style under spoiler is a better street choice. It looks great and still protects the car from guys that do not know how to parallel park.

Just my $.02.

I like the ruf look. I'd ditch the splash guards and get some clear front marker lights.

Poll, Too close to call..

The gap between both options looks pretty close...tuff choice right??

Have you noticed IROC bumper and RSR look is now fashionable for a hot rod project?....

I love track cars and their look, but this is a 100% street car...rather the RUF valence because of that...

Or what say you??...

Did i tell you the RUF valence is lower than the IROC?....bumps on the way number one enemy.....

MiCk..

Ha 28 Votes in, It's still 50/50! RUF is the only way to go.

Have always liked the RUF. It is smooth and it works.

... but this one has issues ...

The gap between the valance and the bumper is badly messed up right below the turn indicator. The wheel arch doesn't line up where it connects to the fender either. I suspect it has been abused or it was just put together in a sloppy fashion.

A little bit of elbow grease should make it right.

The whole bumper, with ruf valence, fog lights where only mounted to be presented to the car..

Some bolts and nuts missing, as you can see also the marker lights are missing, just a simple presentation to the car..

The car was taken to a body shop to have them fitted right...even rubber between bumper and hood is lose...

Thank you all great feed back...

Go the full Monty.......... front and rear lose the accordions and rockers. Dealers choice Duck or Carrera spoiler. If you need inspiration see "the complete Ruf thread" that reappears here occasionally. Hey you asked and I'm really good at giving OTHERS advice. Truth is I'm trying to get up the courage to do the same!

Part of it may be that the RUF piece is for a Turbo Fender car. It looks better than I thought it would but I am not sure it will match up to the SC flares correctly? Looks good though.

I think the IROC suits the narrow body better, the RUF part adds too much visual weight to the front end, IMHO.
