Is it normal to hear oil circulating to/from front oil cooler?

While sitting at a dead stop in a traffic jam this AM due to a huge car fire I could hear fluid gurgling towards the passenger door. Oil temps rose just above normal and as I sat at idle (prob 30 minutes) I could hear oil circulating. I've never really noticed this before and wanted to make sure this is OK. I should note that one of the lines is partially crushed - prob about 50% (compressed air repair is on my to do list).

Thanks!

I can hear it in my SC. Don't think it's a problem.

I have the Mocal setup on my '77 3.2 conversion and it makes all kinds of gurgling noises. I took my 6 year old boy for a ride and he said "it was whining now it's having a drink".

I've never heard mine, but then again, I have no idea if my stat is working or if oil is flowing through a partially crushed line. Every time I say I going to feel the lines after driving, I forget.

Then again, my oil temp needle never has gone past the first mark on my gauge, so I don't give the cooler much thought.
