As requested, some pics of my 78 911sc

I got license plates on the car and took it for a spin in to Sweden and back, 600 miles or so. When motor starts cold, it revs at 2000 rpm before it calms down to 950 after a minute or two. But I guess this is normal? Other than that the motor runs very smooth.

After putting on new tires and having a 4wheel alignment it drives real well.

Front and rear windowseals were leaking, fixed it with sealant between glass and rubber lip. Seems good now. After spraying inside the fenders with a hose, there is some wetness on left side drivers floor. Must check for openings and then plug them.

Pics are from around where I live.

Thanks
Kjell

Very nice.

Yes, 2K is a little high for warm up. 1500 is what I remember on my last CIS car.

Very nice. Is that Continental Orange? Can you take off the 3rd brake light for a cleaner look?

The colour is actually Guards red(!) It looks like my camera messes up the colour in bright sunlight.

I will eventually remove the "snorkel- brakelight". I agree that it does not look good.

95 octane (the standard) is just over US$2,75 pr. liter (4 liters to a gallon?), so rather expensive.
