ook.. How much preload on the torsion bars for my 912

I put new tires on (lower profile) and it further compounds the ride height of my car being too high. Am I in for a surprise when loosen the brackets? The tires do look great... Thanks

Chatas:

Loosen what brackets? The front is easy (up to a point), but the rear requires removing the trailing arms and adjusting them to the correct angle. Without a photo, it's hard to judge the height of your car. I suggest reading Upfixin' der Porsche, Vol. 1, a PCA publication that describes the process of lowering a 911/912, which is easy once you have the information. I did mine 30-plus years ago.
