Cold Start Surgging Issue
I have and '83 low milage 3.0, when started cold it fires up fine and idles as it should, no smoke steady idle etc., when i start driving it (cold) it seems to surge a little in second gear, i can't quite tell if it is surgging or perhaps a miss, (i think a surge) the rpm's raise and lower a few hundred while going slow in 2nd, which i have to stay in untill i reach the main road, once it is warmed up the problem is totally gone, is it common for this durring warm up? I have a borsch bypass w/02 sensor and was set up correctly 2 years ago.

Try playing with the mixture (I'm guessing it might be rich) and see if it helps.
