California, SSI, No Cat, and Smog

Say that you have have an '83, vanilla 3.0, SSI, no cat, valve adjusted, cap-, rotor-, plugs all new.

You also have the Gunson analyzer. You have a blind smog technician.

The 60 million question would be: assuming there are no visual check, what air-fuel ratio should I have to pass California smog?

My guess is 2.0. What is yours?

Your input is much appreciated.

No guess - CA sets your CO% max @ 15 mph at .99, and @ 25 mph at .79. Your other problem is that your car will probably not pass NO. HC could go either way...

2% is OK for Willow Springs however!
