For the New Owner of a Used 911 - or Those Planning to Buy

Books to Buy:

Peter Zimmerman's book on which year and what to look for. (I disagree with his like of CIS on the 197.5 cars - it will save $$ on gas tho).

Frere's 911 book is the best work on this species.

Bentley manual - even if there is not one for your year it will help a lot

Be SURE to get an Owner's Manual (or photocopied pages that are important) & A Tech. Spec. Book

Wayne Dempsey's books on 101 Projects and Engine Rebuilding are good and have outstanding photography in them.
