Wayne's Book: 101 Projects
I love the book and get great pleasure in doing a lot of the projects in it but I was thinking it would be nice to have a page in each section where you could log the repair/upgrade with notes and such.
Anyone else think that's a good idea? |

It was suggested that the book be spiral too, but the publishers said no way - too much on-shelf damage...

A spiral copy would be great. I think the reason all my repair books have grease marks on them is from holding the pages open.

You should be able to go to a place (Office Depot?) that has a binding machine and have the book punched/bound for a few bucks. Probably won't be metal-spiral binding, but the black plastic binding.

A cd version that you can print and spiral yourself would be a great bonus to the regular book, which could then stay clean in the living room when the spiral version gets all the grease. But then, everybody would copy the spiral version CD and Wayne would not sell books anymore...Heh
, no wonder I am in research and not in business...Aurel

I had "101 Projects",the Bentley, and Bruce Anderson's book before I purchased my car, and the PO kindly gave me his along with the car. Now I have coffee table versions, and greasy garage versions

I second KC911's thought.....Considering what I've spent in parts, I realized I should buy two 101 project books (and two Bentleys) and use one for the greasy, "as I do it" time in the garage, and a second clean copy for the inside bookshelf where I can read it the night/morning before the project to get a good idea of what I'm going to do. It's working so far....
