MFI Injector lines

I'm gathering information to document how to rebuild (make from scratch) replacement MFI injector lines.

Material = Double wall steel bundyweld tubing (can any body confirm internal and external diameters and materials ?)

Flare form
Warren Hall Jnr (Early S Man)
posted some time back that the lines used a DIN flare

I'm assuming that this is similar to the DIN 74234 bubble flare form 'F" (see below) but haven't determined if it was the "F" or "F 180°" form - any suggestions ?? Nut and recesses would be to DIN 74233 parts 1 Nuts, and 3 Bores)

In both F forms - the end is finished at an angle of 115°, which provides a small amount of "crush" as it tightens against the 60° cone of the injector inlet - effecting the seal.

The difference between the F and 180° F is at the back of the flare - the 180° form has a right angle step in the tubing, versus the gentle "bubble" form of the standard F form.

Hazet, Stahlwille (#165) , Gedore etc all make flare tools to deliver these flare forms.

Any info or pics (esp closeups with caplier dimensions of the standard flare form)would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
John

Here's a link to TI Group's automotive division (the owners of "bundyweld tubing")

Bundyweld Tubing

Based on their product lineup, I'm assuming the wall thickness for the tube is
0.028" = 0.71mm

Can anybody confirm this spec ?
