Rear deck question

Is there a foam(?) spacer that's supposed to go underneath it?

There's a gap at the rear edge of the deck and I don't think it has, or could have shrunk that much. It appears to be resting on the speaker magnets, but it's a little hard to tell. Looked at the parts breakdown and not much detail is given.

Do you have the rubber/shredded fiber sound mat that goes between the metal package tray surface and the rear deck?

That is what typically fills the gap

Seriously? I have that thing hanging on something on my garage in case I need to hide underneath it in a nuclear attack.

I think I'll get a new thinner, lighter, less ratty pad from appbiz and experiment with whatever sort of spacer/padding I can find.

Thanks for the response.
