Is this fixable?
I doubt it, but what do you think?
![]() I thought I could move the foglight without loosening the bolt that held it on any more. I was wrong. |

You might be able to find a guy that could weld that. It might be easier just to buy another one, used.
The bolt that you see is loosened to adjust the light. The rest of the bracket is attached to the valance with nuts accessible from the back side of the valance. The wiring is connected in the headlight bucket on that side. JR |

If it is cast pot metal you might be able to get by for a time with some krazy glue... I have had decent success with my kids toys that are made of a porous metal
![]() Otherwise... buy a new used one... -Michael

It depends on your definition of fixed. JB weld will hold it on there for a few of years. If you plan on selling soon that will be enough.
If you mean a real long term permanent fix you will need a new or used one. I doubt you can find anyone to weld it for the price of a used one.

Clean it up really good [important!]and JB Weld. Fill the channel with the epoxy, maybe put a reinforcer in the channel and it will be as good as ,or better than original.
That JB Weld is marvelous stuff. |

I'd feel worse selling it half fixed than keeping it for myself that way! I'm going to try to cold weld it myself, just to see if it can be done, but still buy a new (used) one when I can find a good one. I new one from PP is not very much, but then I'd have to replace the other side to match! |
