sizes and code for early 911 fuchs

I am looking for the details on the size and codes for the fuchs that would have been fitted to a 1972 911T . i have a set on the car but i'm not sure if the are the genuine items that would have been fitted in 1972

That part number is for an 8x15, which was never used on a 1972 T and won't fit anyway. They came with nothing larger than a 15x6. The version that they used was what we call the flat 5, as opposed to the deep 6 of the pre-'72 cars. Here's a photo of a very dusty example that is on a car I pulled from a 20 year-long hiberbation this summer.

javadog is correct on the code, those are 8X15 wheels and unless your car has a high ride height or SC flares, they would be difficult to fit.

I believe the 6X15 code for a 72 has as the last two digits, 10 or even 00. Later flat 6's have a 40 at the end. You may wish to try and find the manufacture date on the back of the wheel--around the center hub--and that will narrow down if they are proper for the car. Regardless, 8X15's were not fitted on 72's.

Here's a link to a matching set of 6's from a 72 (according to the seller). Your wheels should look like these

bonus they are the right ones , pulled all the wheels off the car cleaned the inside and found the codes to be 6j 15 with 91136102000 number and date on the inside 472 so i guess thats 4th month 1972.
Due to the car having an sc converstion cira 1980 i need to get all the correct stuff back on and all the sc stuff out the door . Luckly it seems that all they did was mess up the front and rear clip , add sc bumpers all around and sc hood and rear lid .

I think you have steel SC flares on the back. I checked them a couple of weeks ago because I initially thought they were glass. You should have an original non deep dish 15X6 in the spare compartment too, leaving you only one to source.
