I need to replace the engine fuel line on the '87 cab, the one that goes from the filter to the fuel rails. I've got it loose, but can't get it out. From what I can see,
I'll have to take off the intake manifold, and/or drop the engine out of the car. Anybody have any tricks up their sleeves? Thanx, Pete

Fuel Line
I just replaced both fuel lines. I did not remove the intake manifolds. I removed the accessory heater motor and airbox. The airbox does not need to be removed if you are not replacing the rear fuel line. The solid brass part of the fuel line you are talking about is the hardest part to take out. I simple cut my fuel lines off. This saves alot of work. I replaced both fuel lines in less than two hours.

Getting it loose was no problem, cutting it out would be no problem either. I figured if I could get it out in one piece, I could get the new one back in.

Lines
Trying to remove that long fuel line in one piece is going to be difficult. I tried to remove mine without cutting but finally gave up. The stiff brass portion makes it difficult.
