The hard line connects to the side of the case and is mounted at the oil cooler on the front of the engine:

The flexible line connects to the other end of the hard oil line where the hard line mounts to the oil cooler on the front of the engine:

if you got these in a kit, you probably have the flex line that routes over the top of the trans and not under it, like the hard line does.

Thanks for all replies!

Got the solid line part 911-107-739-10-M20 and flexible line 911-107-728-00-M20 (thought I did not have a front oil cooler). Should I have gotten 911-107-729-10-M20 (w/ front oil cooler) instead?

Anyways I was at the shop at the time and my mechanic instead made modifications to the existing lines to make them fit. I will probably made the correction at some point.

But now regarding the heater hoses, how did you reconnect those? Left them open for now and I'm guessing I would need to run 2 flexible hoses into that same single duct. Is this so?
