Power Window limit stops - where do they mount?
All,
I removed and disassembled my drivers door on my '92 C2 months ago for some paint work. I am now in the process of assembling everything and all that is left are two small black windows stops - and I CAN NOT remember or figure out where they go... I know they are at the bottom of the window frame and the window lowers down into them to set the lower stop, but can not remember how they mount. Can anyone tell me ? Thanks in advance

Tom,
I'm adding power windows to my car. I was just pondering the rubber stops which I will need to buy or make. It is my understanding that they are glued to the bottom of the door where the lowest part of the regulator would hit. Anyway, If you could provide a picture and dimensions of the stop I would be grateful. I assuming that it is a hard rubber and not a foam rubber.

Tom,
I stand corrected the lower stop that I was refering to was for the old style parallel arm regulators. After studying the PET is appears that the later style cross arm regulators have the upper and lower stops mounted on the regulator.
