915 stuck in 2nd gear!!

Has anybody run into this situation with a 915 tranny? During an AutoX my tranny stuck in 2nd, at first wouldn't even go to nuetral. After trailering it home and it cooling off overnight, it will go into nuetral but no other gear. I have the motor & tranny out and a spare 915 for my next race, but what would I look for when I get time to break this one open?

Thanks in advance!!

Just a shot in the dark, but did you check all the shift tubes, linkages and things like that to make sure they weren't caught on something between the shifter and the transmission?

Yes, checked shift tube, disconnected, reconnected shift bushing. It's definitely internal. I will probably do a full disassembly this weekend and something should jump out at me. Oh well, It needed 2nd and 3rd synchros anyway.

Bent shift fork or irregularities on the shift fork shaft. remember how metal expands when hot. thats why you could move it some when it cooled down. Just a guesstimation

Drain the fluid and drop the cover you should be able to free up the jam and check to see what is messed up if anything. It could be somthing as simple as a small cotter pin.
