Petit LeMans, anyone?
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, but it gets the most 'traffic'.
Anyone else going to Petit this year? Maybe meet up? Later, Mike

Yup.. at this point I plan to be there.
I have a buddy from Kansas that comes in with a large group every year, and another bud in ATL who is a new Porshephile.. so we're planning on breaking him in as I hear this event is one hell of party!! See you there! Paul

The PCA (Peachstate) set up an area (tent) for members both for parking and gathering in the in-field. Last time I was there, they gave away nice leather key-fobs. Its been several years, but it was a good P-car showing. I forgot if they had food as I did not hang out too long.
I plan on seeing the race and will probably take advantage of the PCA paddock this year. Bob 1973.5T - Sepia

Let's convince more Pelicans to attend! If the cool & dry weather here continues, it will be a fantastic race weekend. I will try to attend Friday & Saturday events. Here is a paddock picture from 2006...

I'll be there on Friday and Saturday too. I'll be in Quebec most of the week, but will be back for a great weekend!

I will be there Wed- Sat camping on Turn 5. Our 11th Petite.
For those traveling in for this race. We have virtually no gas in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Of the 20 stations around my home, none have fuel this evening. I thought last weekend was bad, but this weekend looks to be worse and the situation is not expected to improve for a while. Plan accordingly. As mentioned Porsche sets up a hospitality tent overlooking the 10a and 10b turns. They often have some guest speakers. A couple of years ago they had Bobby Rahal recounting his days driving the 935. One can also sign up their P-car for touring laps on the track. I think this is done on Friday. See you next week at RA. Paul

There there is a group of us going from the middle Ga region of the PCA. ( Ocmulgee) There should be about 10 of us, but we are just going up on Sat... leaving probably about 5am, so will be up there when the gates open...should be a fun day.
I cant wait for the 24 of Daytona!!!!!

I'll be there and working in the Porsche platz, probably manning the gate for Porsche parking. It is such a fun event.
