Thermostat help
I tied posting this on the re-build forum but got no replies, can anyone help?
Could anyone describe the correct operation of the crankcase thermostat. As Wayne suggested in his book, I put it on a hot plate and the higher vent closes completely and the lower vent opens I'd say about 4/5ths. Once it has cooled, the upper vent looks like its just over half and the lower vent closes completely. See pics. If this isn't correct is it possible to dismantle and re-build? Thanks Cameron
