Scheel Replica in SC?

I have a pair of Scheel replica seats that I bought for use in my '67 SWB and they bolt right in. I have purchased a set of NOS vintage seats for that car and I'm wondering if the Scheels will go into a '79 SC?

The track width is different from '74 up.
If the seats don't have provisions for head rests I would make a harness bar that incorporated some type of head rest, just my .02.

Thanks for the responses. Answers to questions:

o I got the seats from Vintage Seats. Very, very light and well built. They were around $1K each.

o I also worry about the lack of head restraints. When I have them in my '67 I also have the roll-bar installed, to which I mounted head restraints.



I'm looking for ways to take weight off my SC without molesting it. It's my daily driver and I think it has some potential if I could get a couple hundred pounds off.

with adaptor plates they will fit in the SC. The bolt pattern on the chassis from 67 to 79 is different (change over in 74)
we make the same seats and have fitted them in an SC
