Bumper pads work!!

Short story:

Wife takes the 911 to the fabric store while kids and I wash the wagon.

I realise Mom forgot her cell phone. No biggie, she should be home any minute.

Home phone rings. Caller ID reads "MI Police" Crap, this can't be good.

Some b^&* rear ended the wife while she was stopped at a light and took off.

State police post is a mile down the road so wifey goes there to use a phone to call me. She is fine but shook up and obviously nervous about making the call to me.

Fearing more damage than the Trooper who checked the car realises I head over after leaving the kids with a neighbor.

Nothing but the lens of the license plate light.

Man, am I glad I didn't take my pads off.The paint isn't cracked, dinged, dented or anything.

Got a lens coming from group911. Gotta love this site!!!!

I hope your wife is OK? I bet she was more worried about how you would react hurting your baby.

+1 on the Fugly Bumpers, I too got rear ended with no damage, Lucky. I was pissed all out of hell and yelled at the low life idiots. I made them sweat by getting their insurance info and license. They were laughing but I guess because of nervousness

Lucky again it wsn't a Truck or SUV.

Yup, I was thinking the same thing a couple of night ago when the wife (driving) and me (passenger) pulls in behind my 1 week old (to me) 88 carrera and bumps it!!!

I freaked out and called jesus a few names in the process, checked the car and it was fine, her car had a much softer bumper so absorbed most of it. Phew.....she managed to avoid divorce!!!
