COILOVER VS. TORSION bars

So what is better coilover struts or just staying with torsion bars, or is combining the two a good idea? Looking at updating a 66 to a newer set up.

For a '66 swb car I would stay w/ t-bars. You don't need massive spring rates and it'll be a world cheaper and easier to get set up.

The latter cars went to coil overs because they were easier to adjust and to get the high spring rates used for tracked high hp/torque cars.
