What are these early mystery parts?

These came in a box in a 72T parts car. Obviously one is a valve cover, but I've never seen anything like it. Part number is 901.105.116.03. What's interesting is the ribbing and the cut-outs for twin plug.

Anyone know what it goes to? 911R?

next seems to be some sort of fuel pump or fuel distributor. On the body is the following text:
A.Pierburg K.G.
Neuß
Made in W. Germany

Anyone ever seen this on a 911, or maybe a 356 or ?

Sorry for the bad pics, my camera sucks.

Looks like a Volkswagen type BOCAR fuel pump Siamese twin!

Shaun - you disappoint me

The valve cover is an early lower sand cast aluminum version with 6 studs - even though it has room for cutouts, it is the standard item
The fuel pump is from an early engine as well. Used with a drive off the nose of the left cam to feed the solex carbs.

Regards,
Andrew M

The valve cover is the standard lower (exhaust) aluminum cover for a '65-'67 911.

The other item is the circulating fuel pumps from a '65-'66 type 901/01 engine with Solex carbs. These pumps mount on the left chain cover and are operated mechanically off the left cam nut.

Best,
Grady

Thanks Tony, I've had offers all over the map on it. I (rather obviously) know nothing about pre-69 cars, but even I wouldn't sell it for $50. Yes, I did get that offer.

Grady was first to ask for it, I asked him to make an offer not knowing what it's worth, and since then 2 other knowledgeable folks have added their $.02 on market value, and requests to purchase, and yes, it seems to be valuable.

The solex pump may be worth quite a bit to the European guys since they still race that system at some venues ..........

Ok, I admit it, I cut and pasted that. I just wanted to sound like I knew what I was talking about
