Prussian Blue 911, photos wanted

I've owned my Prussian Blue 1986 Carrera 3.2 for about 6 months and while I love the car, I'm really not sure about the colour. I do love the blue aspect of it, but in the sunlight (rare in the UK, I know) I hate the purple side to it. I know this is a popular colour, but I'm almost verging on a colour change.
Does anyone have a pics of cool looking Prussian Blue 911s to give me some inspiration?

Anyway this is my car:

Cheers
Si

Yeah, I know what you mean about the purple "hue" in the sunlight, I don't like that either, but man in the shade, and out of direct sunlight, and going down the road this is one cool rare color. Don't regret mine one bit.

Photo's attached for you, car is very dirty, just got back from a trip when I took these which explains all the bugs on the front!

You guys are daft. Those are two of the prettiest Porsches I've laid eyes on. Under the heading "the grass is always greener" mine is Iris Blue and I sometimes wish it were a bit darker say....Prussian Blue?

Embrace the occasional purple!

Wow, Prusssian Blue is one of my favorites!! I think it beats the run of the mill Black/White/Silver crowd.

Mine is Diamnond Blue Metallic that also changes color in the light from gray to purple to silver etc.

Prussian Blue

I saw a prussian blue metallic coupe at Victory when I was looking for a 911 about 6 months ago and I must say it really was a very nice shade of blue, especially under their well lit showroom. The car actually sold in a couple days after I looked at it. Supposedly a very rare colour when compared to the number of other blue's out there.

I have Marine Blue which looks very similiar to your Prussian Blue, it does have a purple tint when in direct sunlight and looking at certain angles. I would never change the colour of my car, it's just so rare to see this colour. But each to their own, it's obviously not for everyone.

That is a fantastic color...What are you going to change it to, guards red? But seriously, you have one of the best colors out there.

Cheers,

You know, you can think of purple as being the "best" blue.

Blue light is on the high-energy side of the spectrum. Beyond blue is purple and then ultra-violet. So powerful it burns your skin.

Your car is smokin'...

I jusr re-read your post about changing the color. Don't do it!!!!

Pacific, Marine, Prussian Blue are all great "blues". My dream 911 has always been a gunmetal blue Turbo.

I got close with my SC in Pacific. I do plan to add that turbo someday unless I get a 993.
