Mirage Intl bump steer kit
 

Anyone used this item on their cars bump steer kit at bottom of page? Any idea how much it costs and are the more expensive kits that much better than the bolt and spacer kits?

I had a 78 911 SC Targa that was lowered to Euro height without turbo tie rods in the front and it made a difference when I installed some rack spacers (bolts and washers). I am thinking of doing the same on my 72 Targa with turbo tie rods because I do get similar kick / bump feedback when I'm in a turn and going over bumps.

Opinions, etc? TIA,

Bump steer kits such as the ERP one and Elephant Racing version are designed and intended for cars that are lowered beyond the normal range or have raised-spindle struts. Further, people who want the ability to fine-tune bump steer for optimal handling behavior need such products to make fine corrections on each side.

In these cases, rack spacer kits simply cannot make the required corrections to steering geometry that minimize toe changes through 2 inches of bump & 2 inches of droop travel.

Your car's ride height will determine what corrective measures will be needed to minimize bump steer.
