Fuchs or Fakes
How do I tell the difference between the original Fuchs and the fake ones. I have a set on my can and want to verify them. I know I'm supposed to look for an emblem or something somewhere. Does anyone have any pics of that.
Also, the chrome is coming off. What are you thoughts on getting them redone? I have the chrome rims with the color Porsche crest in the middle. Any good places and how much. I live in Southern California. Thanks!

The emblem looks like a little Fox face (hence Fuchs - German for Fox)
Sorry, I do not have a photo, though someone here will. I would get rid of the chrome and go anodizing. I do not think Fuchs came chromed factory. Harvey Weidmann can refinish Fuchs to polished, brushed Aluminum, Anodized, RSR frosted, and paint them any way you want- all metal, black centers, just background, etc.
