2.5 years later...progress. The market changes, then so do the goals. This car is now going back to full original, no expense spared. The car was handed over to some expert hands to evaluate the sheet metal, and is now in progress to have all everything put right. Here are some pics:

The front pan section looks just like my current project. Minus the pile of new sheet metal on the ground. Guess its time to call up RD.
